2020 MacBook Pro no longer powering on after factory reset

Hey all. Today I picked up a brand new M5 MacBook Pro to replace my old 2020 MacBook Pro (Intel Series). Transferred all my data over and then went to go factory reset my old one so I could hand it down to my brother. However, after doing the factory reset, it appears to have just stopped working entirely. Its seems to have gone completely unresponsive. I can't wake the laptop at all. I've tried holding down the power button, SMC reset, even tried plugging into my new one to see if I can get it into DFU mode with Apple Configurator, but I get nothing.

Wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and if there is anything that I can try next before having to make another trip down to the Apple Store this week to see what's up? Laptop was working just fine before the reset.
