For those that asked? EXD with a PT 5000 and a 3 link titanium bracelet?
Not really a review. Just a drive by. I was playing with a few of my watches today that I don't generally wear any longer. But the thought occurred to me..."long before the EXD there was the IXDAO 39". And you thought WDs had a logo problem? The name eventually grew on me and I collected a number of the IXDAO 39s. And they were my first impressions of a movement that has proven itself to be very reliable and very accurate Chinese PT5000...a clone of the ETA2824-2 actually, just built on decades newer machinery.
I bought at least one of them from Watchdives. Since my purchases the IXDAO 39 has sadly been discontinued.
Live long and prosper for those of us that bought them in the recent past. It is a lovely little watch. (if 39mm is little to you) No bidirectional bezel. Uni-directional bezel only, and not the best one at that sadly, or I'd still be wearing one more often, with a strap or with the titanium bracelet (which has screws not pins).
39mm X 11.8mm thick. And a virtual 1:1 homage of the Tudor 39, (including the 21mm lug spacing) but with a much better latch! Today's watch porn here on a 22mm WOE strap. A watch that actually deserves a $50 strap I think.
Just an idea for a watch that has a good following already and others have asked for. u/watchdives.
