Good lord! Goin’ To The Chapel-And There’s Gonna Be A Massive Bill

HOW! How are ordinary folks paying for weddings! I’m watching my also GenX sis pay for a wedding and I’m flabbergasted! I never married but back when all my friends were, there were 1 or 2 what I’d call big weddings and the rest were nice but not huge. Receptions in church halls and whatnot. And the stress she’s under! It seems like SHE is the wedding coordinator. My God, I’d pray my kids elope!

Or maybe I’m just an old GenXer.🤷‍♀️
