Success Stories?

Has anyone ever successfully rehomed a dog to someone outside family/friends/aquaintances or adopted a dog needing to be rehomed? Like has anyone ever posted on rehoming Facebook pages or the Nextdoor app and gotten a genuine person that you met with and decided was a good fit for your dog? I’ve been on these Facebook pages and literally every comment on every post is people saying how horrible the person is or just saying to research who they’re giving their pet to. I’ve only seen a couple comments of actual interest and then there’s no update so I don’t even know if it’s successful.
