Housing

I have two questions, first of all, what would you guys recommend living on campus or in an apartment, any ideas how the money works out? and how feasible it is for two people to afford a apartment while being a student.

Next question, am i able to live with my gf in a dorm? Do you know how hard it is to get a dorm like that?
