How do you handle melasma "maintenance" during the summer months?

Hello everyone! I love being outdoors, but my melasma is a constant battle. I’m curious about the best sequencing for treatments. I’ve heard about rotating ingredients like hydroquinone and tretinoin so your skin doesn't get used to them.

Why does it feel like a full-time job just to keep your face an even color? Does anyone else feel like they have to choose between their hobbies and their skin? I would love to hear how you manage your routine when you know you’re going to be in the sun. Thanks!
