Why have I been experiencing pain during sex?

Me and my husband have been together for almost 8 years. Sex was always good and fine but the last 4 years ive been experiencing pain during. We use to be able to have sex in any position and be rough but now it just too painful. Sometimes I get lucky and it’s not but the chance of it hurting really puts me off to sex and we don’t really have it a lot anymore. Doggy/From the back was my favorite position and that is a no go now I won’t even try it (too painful) We always have to have sex in missionary now but even that hurts most of the time. I seen a gyno about it a few years okay and her only advice was for me to try birth control (which I refuse to go on). She said something about women’s ovary’s get enlarged and the birth control can make them smaller? Causing less pain? Didn’t answer my question about why I would suddenly start experiencing pain during sex after being fine for years. We do use lube it doesn’t make a difference in pain. When I went to gyno a few years ago she did transvaginal ultrasound and found nothing. I often times bleed/spot after sex sometimes for a day or two even if we used lubricant. I plan on going back to dr and trying to find someone who will hopefully take me seriously now that I have insurance again but I just wanted to ask peoples opinions if they experienced something similar. I do think I may have pelvic floor issues because I’ve always struggled with being incontinent since probably middle school (I sometimes will piss my pants laughing, cough or sneeze to hard I pee). I’m 24 and have no had kids.
