Why are Muslims obsessed with marrying their cousin

It’s actually really disturbing and I hate it.

Like why am I the child of 2 people who were second cousins🫩🫩🫩

I hate thinking about it😭

She says to my siblings and me that we can’t marry our cousins or that would be weird and I’d just side eye her coz mother, who is ur husband again ???
