BDSP Shiny Hunting Question

I want to shiny hunt Darkrai and Arceus in BDSP with a macro using an 8bitdo Ultimate 2 controller. Does anyone know if automating the entire process (resetting the game and encountering the pokemon) would mess with the RNG? Or is there a risk of hitting the same frames/RNG seeds like this? Any insight or tips would be appreciated :)
