What is an Area Manager?

My studio opened in July 2024 and I’ve been an unlimited member since then. We recently got a new “coach” who is listed as an Area Manager. She has never coached at our studio (or was regularly on the schedule anyway) up until this week.

Prior to this, I don’t believe any coach was classified as Area Manager. Is this a new position? What does it entail (just curious)?
