People who took 2 or more gap years, will I survive?

Katanungan

I'm graduating grade 12 this March. But as a family, we've discussed that it would be better to settle and rest for a while before engaging in the big rings of education.

A gap year wouldn't be so big to me, if this was just my first gap year that I'd take. That is to say, I repeated 11th grade, so there is already a school year gap between me and my current classmates in grade 12—but there's an even bigger age gap waiting for me in college because I'm not enrolling for now.

My parents and I decided not to enroll me in college for now because of my several mental disorders. Which I'm not going to discuss any further for the sake of staying on topic.

My concern in this situation stems from social fear—how I'll fit in even with the 2 year gap and how I present myself socially.

See, I have the small, childlike voice of an eleven year old despite being 19. I'm shy, quiet, nervous, and timid. Given how I present myself, it makes me worriedly concerned if I'll survive college, bullying and all that social outcast stuff.

Also, does the 2 year gap really makes that much of a distance between you and your classmates? Or they typically don't know that you're older than them, unless you tell them yourself? I'm worried about blending and not wanting to stick out.

Meron po ba tayong norms or cultural taboo sa pagiging matanda sa mga classmate mo?
