Why is everyone asking for spare accounts

Everyone is saying on this sub “i need a spare account“ for reasons like ai chatbot, is this a scamming/hacking ring? I think what they really do is do horrible stuff on the spare alt and since polytoria believes your accounts are ban evasions and believe it's you doing that horrible stuff they will ban all your accounts including your main. Im a bit skeptical so can someone test the waters for me
