Any tips on how to stop cosleeping?

My baby is about to be 1, and we’ve been cosleeping since he was about 4 or 5 months old because he refused to sleep in the crib. We want him to be able to sleep independently in the crib, and to move it out of our room, but idk how to go about it without some type of cio method
