I find wish refining coins to be problematic

I’m alright with getting downvoted for this, as the gamble was my choice, I just am so incredibly frustrated and need to blow off some steam. So “yay” wish refining coins are out! Helpful, yes. Insanely frustrating, also yes. I just want to change the mane of my unicorn to the long style. I have used 5 wish refining coins just to get the mane. But still don’t have it. Because there are only three mane options and the current style always has to change, it should be a 50-50 chance that I get either. So I figured the long mane wouldn’t be hard to get. Idk if I have the idea wrong or if I am just insanely unlucky. But I blew my entire budget just to get nowhere. I really wish that there was a feature that gave you the trait you wanted after so many tries. At least with normal wishing coins you are guaranteed something, these coins can give you a worse trait than before or have you stuck in a cycle of back and forth. It’s no guarantee when you will reach your desired trait, could be in two coins for one person or twenty for another :(
