How good is the public transport in Chongqing

I am an Australian wondering how good the public transport and the active transport (cycling) is in Chongquing.

How are the inter-city trains?

How is the metro/subway?

Are there any trams/lightrail?

Is there much in the way of bike infrastructure?

Not looking to visit unfortuneatly just curious.
