AHPRA provisional/limited reg (overseas psych): realistic pay + public vs private vs hybrid?

Hi all — looking for real-world advice from Aus psychologists / supervisors / practice owners. I’m an overseas-trained clinical psychologist migrating to Australia. APS assessed my qualifications as 6-year equivalent. Next step is AHPRA registration; I expect to start on provisional/limited registration with required supervision hours. For the first 1–2 years, what’s a realistic pay range (hourly or salary), and which setting tends to work best: public, private, or hybrid? Any insight appreciated.
