1 month in Phuket (Chalong) - food, tips & general info
I’ll be staying in Chalong from May 3rd for a month. I’ll be training BJJ twice a day while I’m there and basing myself near Phuket Grappling Academy, so most of my time will be around Chalong and possibly Rawai.
I’m looking for some local recommendations. Mainly good cheap food spots. Proper local places rather than tourist restaurants. I’ll have a scooter so I don’t mind driving a bit if it’s worth it.
I’m also planning to get regular sports massages for recovery (legit places only), so if anyone has recommendations for solid, professional massage spots around Chalong that would be great.
Any other general tips for staying in the area for a month with health and training in mind would be appreciated too. Things like best supermarkets, good smoothie spots, recovery-friendly routines, etc.
Thanks in advance
