Things to do in Switzerland

The Video

I recently watched a YouTube video where someone visited Geneva and honestly it looked… kind of boring. The whole video was basically just going to a few tourist attractions, walking around the city, and that was pretty much it. The atmosphere felt very quiet and a bit cold. The people didn’t seem very interactive either.

The funny part was that the most entertaining moment in the entire video was actually a white Angolan guy cracking jokes and bringing some energy to the vlog. Without him the video would’ve been even more flat.

It made me wonder if the video just didn’t show the interesting parts, or if Geneva is really like that. From the outside it looks beautiful and very clean, but also kind of… slow?

For people who live there or have spent time there:

• Is Geneva actually boring or was the video just not showing the right things?
• What do locals actually do for fun there?
• Are there good neighborhoods for nightlife, culture, or social life?
• Or do most people just work and then leave the city on weekends?

I’m genuinely curious because Switzerland always looks amazing in photos, but this video made Geneva seem a bit lifeless.
