Small hit and run (on my parked car) - no injuries or major damage but figuring out next steps

Good evening all. Someone hit my car and drove off but my car’s dashcam captured it all. Damage isn’t too bad (everything’s still attached) but I’m going to go through the steps for reimbursement / loss of value. Anyone been through this with the Somerville PD? Do they send an officer to take a statement / take photos / gather the report?
