I know it’s the wrong generation for the laptop to power this, but I really wanted a sleeper setup with the CRT, so this is temporary until I either find a shell with a vertical stand to cram the laptop in or borrow a shell. For now, I’m working on something bigger when I have the time for it. It’s all powered by my laptop.

This is only a third of it and a sneak peek of my entire time traveling setup, where I have multiple generations of computer tech and accessories.

Starting on the left, which will be moved on the wooden table, a beige and 90s style on the left including a CRT, which I’ll get an earlier version of a monitor stand to hold it up and store the keyboard right under it. I also have a 90s keyboard and a Microsoft ball mouse to pair with it.

Then, we have a 2000s setup with a square LCD monitor, some thrift store accessories including a keyboard and speakers in the middle. I’ve had an old DELL mouse, so I’ll use it for that. I also have an older laptop, but I’ll change the style on this one.

Finally, we have a 2010s plus 20s modern setup with an RGB keyboard, a weird looking RGB mouse, and a small Roku TV as a monitor with a PS5 plugged into it. If I get tired of using it for computer stuff, I can either watch tv or use it for my PS5’s screen.

I made this so I can learn from each style and adapt to. If I get bored, I can unplug one setup from the laptop and use another one with it. All I need now is some desk pads to accompany them, lol.

A sneak peek of my three part Time Traveling Setup involving 90s on the left, 2000s in the middle and 2010s to 20s on the right. (More info below)
