With a recent purchase I received a few Armani Luminous Silk samples. The samples I chose:

8.6 Described as Tan, Neutral Golden

9.0 Described as Tan, Neutral Olive

9.1 Described as Tan, Warm Peach

Personally, I think that 8.6 is a bit pink and not a golden shade at all. 9.0 does seem to fit it’s description and 9.1 looks neutral/golden.

For reference my perfect match is the Lisa Eldridge Foundation in shade 23, a warm olive and I’m muted.

The swatches on my neck and cheek show the difference in shade. The second to last picture shows all three applied to my face with no other makeup. The last shows a full face. In the last two photos it seems like all three shades could reasonably work. In person, the pink undertone of 8.6 on my forehead is noticeable but the other two shades are reasonable. I could realistically use both shades and be happy.

Products used for the full face:

Natasha Denona Biba palette shades Pasha and Shine

One/Size Oil Sucker Primer

L’Oréal Brow Stylist Definer in Soft Black

Westman Atelier Concealer shade T2 (a bit warmer than what I would like, should have bought T1)

Haus Labs Glassy Blush in Glassy Clove 🥰

Hourglass Ambient palette (holiday fox shades) Bronzer in Bronze Fusion and Highlighter in Solar Glow

Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Volume Mascara in 01 Extreme Black

Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge in 118 French Cœur

😅 I ran out of daylight so this was the best lighting I could get at the time. I feel like the photos are fair using my vanity lights at half brightness.
