Has anyone crackers their retainers/mouth guards?,

I just got diagnosed with severe tmj maybe 6ish months ago. I was told botox and a mouth guard would help. Well I don't have 5k laying around to do botox so I just did the mouth guard. I also have an invisalign retainer that I wear on the bottom. We'll I noticed today how badly cracked my invisalign is on top of parts grinded down. My $600 mouth guard also has a crack in it 🙃 I don't understand how I'm still clenching so hard in my sleep to the mouth I'm breaking my invisalign in half and my cracking my mouth guard. I thought it was supposed to help with that 😭 Has anyone else had this issue?! I have no idea what to even do at this point. It's helped my jaw pain a little but it's still there..
