Sizing up/larger start point

Are there others in this group that had larger urethras from the start? I’m a long term lurker and just got into it. But from what I’ve seen on here, most people start at either 8 or 9mm.

I started off with a 10mm plug and a stepped dilator. Realized immediately that the 10mm plug was too small and fall out easy so I bought an 11mm plug, and if I want to wear it for more than a hour I have to put the smallest amount of lube for it to stay in.

I just got a hegar set this last week and found that after 10-15 minutes of sounding I can use the 12mm with little discomfort but a nice stretch feeling.

If there are others in here who started off bigger to begin with did you find stretching up sizes easier? I’m not trying to rush. But I do wanna hear others experience that started larger to begin with.
