Playing Mario Kart 8 after playing Mario Kart World

I was playing online on Mario Kart world, and went to play Mario Kart 8 after because I missed those courses. It is nuts how different the handling is on both games. I used to be great at Mario Kart 8, but my muscle memory is totally gone. I kept trying to drift on straight aways, and even drifting on curbs feels completely different. I gave up after I got 12th on Wario’s Gold Mine lol
