Hearing some type of scuttling

For 2 nights I was hearing what sounded like occasional rustling and small scuttling scratchy noises coming from what seemed like under the floor in my bedroom. I cleaned good, put a bunch of traps down, and left for a few days (unrelated, just bad timing for a planned trip). I come back, there’s nothing caught in traps or mouse poop anywhere, no smell, no signs of anything. I thought it’d be resolved, I’m aware that was stupid. Was laying in bed with the light off and quiet pretty much all day today, but then as it turned night and got dark I heard the noises again. We live essentially in the middle of the woods and my parents get mice bad in their bathroom on the other end of the house, but I’ve NEVER had one until now.

I just don’t know what to do and I’m freaking out, I don’t wanna sleep in my room due to it either. Idk if maybe they’re just kinda living in the floor but not messing around in my room? I do have a vent in my bedroom and discovered a somewhat exposed gap in a doorway that’s gotten worse over the years. We’re gonna seal that up but otherwise I’m unsure. There’s no food trash in there at all. How do I solve this? Have had multiple breakdowns over it within the past few hours
