Someone floated the idea of having the option to remove disposition from a Riven and be able to lock stats with each roll in exchange of making the Riven untradable and I think thats genius.

Why is this good?

Currently you can sink in a literal infinite amount of Kuva and still not get the Riven you want because every Roll is 100% RNG. With the addition of Arcanes and Galvanized Mods, Rivens are not nearly as relevant as they used to be. And new Weapons are added to the game with 1/5 Disposition. These changes would make Rivens worth engaging with, in fact we could do what Rivens were meant to be used for: Rolling a very specific Stat combination for a very specific build.

Why is this bad?

This would tank the market and send the Riven mafia into a throwing fit. But because this would be an OPTION and not how Rivens work at base, it wouldnt be nearly as catastrophic. In fact I think this could reinvigorate the Riven market.

What should an "Ascended Riven" cost?

Something big. Tauforged Shard might be the only option here. And as a side note: It would make my headcanon of Riven Slivers being tiny Archon Shards real.
