Fundamental Paper Doom: Adding more facts to the Unmaker and the Crucible

Alternate Universe

When the Crucible blade is stabbed into a target and the handle is removed, it permanently paralyzes the target’s body, mind, and soul. This places the victim into an eternal coma-like state, where they cannot move, think, or even dream.

It is impossible to adapt to the Crucible. The moment the blade pierces the target’s body, petrification begins instantly. If the handle is not removed and the blade is simply pulled out, the target regains movement. However, if the handle is removed while the blade remains inside, the blade assimilates into the target’s body, making the neutralization irreversible.

When the Unmaker is used in Annihilation Mode, it functions similarly to the Crucible in terms of effectiveness. It can harm and completely disintegrate any entity across the multiverse, regardless of immortality or adaptive abilities. The weapon is designed to inflict such overwhelming pain that the target’s body becomes incapable of concentrating enough to trigger adaptation. In other words, adaptation is rendered useless.

When the Unmaker is used in Purification Mode, prolonged exposure (approximately 20–30 seconds of continuous contact) will strip the target of all abilities, powers, and enhanced attributes. Using Revenge Abbie as an example: if he were struck for that duration, he would revert to being a normal Abbie. His powers, negative emotions, and possibly the Smile Parasite would be completely purged. Like Annihilation Mode, Purification Mode inflicts unbearable pain that prevents adaptation. It is, essentially, a torture-level experience, indescribable and overwhelming to any being.

Weapon Restrictions and Usage Protocol:

Due to the immense power of these weapons, strict safeguards are in place to prevent misuse. During standard missions, Doom Abbie is not permitted to access either the Crucible or the Unmaker. These weapons are locked across all realities and can only be unlocked in extreme or highly specific situations.

Access conditions are as follows:

Target is unkillable and has no further use:
The Crucible is unlocked to permanently neutralize the target.

Target can be killed and has no further use:
The Unmaker is unlocked in Annihilation Mode to eliminate the target within seconds.

Target can be killed and has further use:
The Unmaker is unlocked in Purification Mode to permanently pacify and cleanse the target.

What qualifies as “further use”?
If the target is being manipulated or forced into battle by an external force, Purification Mode is used to cleanse them. Once purified, they may assist in locating the mastermind behind the manipulation. After their assistance is complete, they are returned to their original universe, sometimes accompanied by additional personnel to help them recover from possible trauma.

Since we're here, I wanna add a little fun fact to Doom Abbie

Doom Abbie’s Strength Regulator:

After Doom Abbie’s strength was upgraded to immeasurable levels, he began struggling to control it. Even casual contact risked catastrophic destruction. To solve this, he and V1 Lana built a strength and speed regulator device and implanted it into his body.

Outside of battle, Abbie activates the regulator, reducing his strength to that of a very well-trained human, someone who consistently goes to the gym. During battle, he deactivates it, unlocking his full power.

The device was built using Argent Energy, but not the one originating from the Hellish Realm.

Purified Argent Energy:

After the defeat of Davoth Katie, while repairing the damage caused by her malevolent half, Katie discovered the Argent Energy, a powerful energy source fueled by human suffering. Disgusted by its nature, she created her own version.

This new Purified Argent Energy operates independently and is even more powerful than the original. She used it to upgrade Doom Abbie, transforming him into the Guardian of the Multiverse.

This is why the fire on his stem glows light blue instead of yellow: purified Argent flows through his veins and armor.

V1 Lana also runs on Purified Argent Energy. It is the reason she became significantly faster than Abbie. However, the dosage she received was much smaller, which is why she still relies on additional energy sources. Over time, her system can overheat. To prevent permanent damage, her body automatically shuts down to cool itself. During this process, her secondary energy sources keep her core systems operational.

When powered by Purified Argent Energy, Doom Abbie’s regulator no longer requires recharging. It cannot be hacked, nor can it malfunction, as it operates independently and is not connected to any external systems.
Now, one last fact:

Why Is Doom Abbie’s Stem Always on Fire?

The origin of his constantly burning stem dates back to the first episode. While fighting Zimps (hellish replicas of Zip), one of them struck his leaf with a fireball. From that moment on, every time Abbie repaired his leaf, it would be burned again in the next battle.

Eventually, he grew tired of fixing it and accepted its damaged state, permanently missing its upper half.

Later, when upgraded by the Divinity Machine, this damage became irreversible, his leaf could no longer regenerate.

After Katie’s upgrade, the fire gained emotional responsiveness:

When he feels upset or prepares for battle, the fire ignites.

When he is calm or happy, the flames dissipate.

Well, that's all i wanted to talk, give me your thoughts about these facts and feel free to suggest additions or changes to the FPD'S Lore :)
