Is this an upgrade?

I have a Hyundai Getz 2007 with no working radio and 171,000kms on it. It’s had problems in the past that’s caused me to loose trust in it.

I want a new car now for the purpose of not needing to suddenly buy a new one for the next 8 years as I settle into homeownership.

I’m looking at a 2014 Toyota Prius Hybrid c with 103,000kms. It’s $13,000AUD.
