Just got an interesting theory about what makes V1 so special and why hell even bothers showing lore to it.

What if inside V1 is the last human. Before you murder me with the mankind is dead text from the intro, just consider this:

What if the last human as a way to survive what was the last catastrophe of mankind were machines were ravaging the planet in search of blood was surgically grafted inside the remaining V-model prototype in order to have the best chances at surviving this barren world, think like a brain inside V1's chest or the bare essential of a human inside it. This could explain why V1 is so creative while fighting and why hell is so intrigue as to show it lore about the world like the blank books and other things like the great painting of the archeangels. What if this is the reason why V1 is so scared to die like shown in the death sequence.

I know this sounds wacky but it could explain many things as how did V1 managed to get out of wherever place it was stored in and subsequent arrival to hell and how it is so creative during combat to the point of gracefully beating an updated model like V2 with ease twice. Maybe theres so little of the person inside like just a brain to rather be considered more machine than man and thats why it doesnt count as 1 and humanity is considered extinct.
