How do men handle their female partners body-image issues post major (50kg) weight loss?
39yo, BODY IMAGE POST MAJOR WEIGHT LOSS
Hello hello,
I understand that men want to see their partner completely naked, but how do men feel about their partner who has body-image issues? I have lost 50kg, so I have a lot of loose skin - boobs and belly - the only option to fix this is surgery. My partner and I have been together for 3 months, and he still hasn’t seen me completely naked. I feel bad. I know he loves me, and my body. But the loose skin - it’s squishy, it hangs, it wobbles, and I can’t help but feel incredibly insecure about it. I don’t know how to overcome this feeling, as to me it’s very unattractive, to the general population it’s very unattractive. I try reminding myself that he loves everything about me, but I just can’t get past the fact that everything is wobbling and floppy - especially during s3x. The “hang” of the loose skin during certain positions is disgusting to me, I know that gravity isn’t kind, but it’s enough for me to wear a singlet to “hold” it during s3x so that it doesn’t hang and jiggle.
Please don’t comment if you’re going to be nasty or rude. I’m genuinely looking for honest answers, but I’m not interested in hearing from anyone who enjoys hating on “fat chicks”.
Thanks for reading. xo
