Macbook Neo

My 2019 MacBook Pro (Intel) recently died and was running Lychee fine until the screen failed. I can get the MacBook Neo for $500 with an education discount. Since it seems equivalent to an M1, do we think this will run Lychee ok? I don't do more than basic slicing for my Saturn 3.
