Switching from Gen 3 14mm to 16mm experiences

I’ve been playing with a Perseus pro IV 14mm for almost a year now and I’m planning to get the Perseus pro V 16mm. I came from a 16mm before that and remember having to adjust to how 14mm paddles were more poppy, especially for dinks and resets. I’m curious if my time using a 14mm will now make my control on a 16mm elite or if it’ll be less of a factor than I’m making it out to be in my head. Any experiences?
