caplyta causing me OCD symptoms and I’m scared

I’ve been taking 21mg of caplyta for about a month now, and I’ve been feeling really anxious the past few days. But today specifically I’ve started having an OCD episode, because I have this thought stuck in my head of my hand getting sliced by a sheet of paper and it’s scaring me so bad that I can’t even pick up paper without freaking out, sweating and my heart racing so bad. I can’t get the thought out of my head. I wonder if I need a different dose? It’s really scaring me. I literally feel like I need to curl into a ball on my bed with my arms over my head to protect myself from anything ‘sharp’. I am thinking that maybe this medication isn’t right for me, I have reached out to my psychiatrist but haven’t heard back yet. I’m really scared and don’t know what to do :(
