OK what have I done.

OK I just recently beat Kai Guy, arguably in the most weird and not really meant to method I think cuz in terms of progression I finally beat Kai guy for the first time while having a spore gun, nox mortar, and other technically end game stuff equipped. Anyways my problem is when I went back to his Dojo I can't find him I did go to Dark green Retreat and even entered the Leigon but the only thing I can find or do there is fight Lazurai and Deval both outside and inside don't do anything or tell me to talk to Guy where he is still missing from the Dojo. What do I do? As far as I know the only game breaking things I've done is fighting him after old fart, and somehow insta killing him at half hp with nothing but a bro dagger and the duelist ring (for context I am the worst at parrying at this game and only recently I tried using teh ring and the fastest weapon I can think off to use to parry instead. Somehow I won that fight dispite him having clearly more or less half hp and him not being in a vunrable state. I can't even redo the fight anyways nor get fists. So what Do I do now? Do I fight the hardest boss in the game? Or is there another way to find Guy?
