Hello, I am new here - holy crap guys

Mutiny After Midnight is my first exposure to Sturgill Simpson. I am completely blown away.

I have no idea how to put a genre on this album all I know is that I fucking love it. I have listened to it no less than 7 times on repeat over the past few days. Something about the groove of the tracks has me absolutely hooked.

Particularly the tune Situation is just outstanding. The guitar work is masterful and that drum beat is so in your face and toe tappy. Love the lyrics and messaging throughout each track.

I came here just to say it is not often that new music floors me and I am so happy when it does. This one feels like an all timer and I am sold on Johnny Blue Skies. Wishing everyone good vibes!
