Is word imagery a message?

This morning I woke up before my alarm went off. In the interest of catching some extra zzzz's, I turned on my side, closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep. It couldn't have been more than 10 minutes when I saw the words "OVARIAN CANCER" flash in mind. My eyes popped open, my heart started racing and all I could think was "what was that!?".

It was black text on white background, almost like if someone typed in a large font on Microsoft Word. I was not dreaming nor was I fully asleep. I know no one with ovarian cancer and it has not been on my mind. I've heard mediums describe how they get information from those who have crossed over as images, words or sounds. My dad died in July, so when this happened this morning, my first thought was if it was his consciousness trying to warn me of something. I'm anxious af.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
