Sandrone’s Allegiance in 6.7: Fatui or Non Fatui
Yes, I’m unfortunately here to pass the time until her release and once again yap to everyone (since I like hearing the takes people have here). I’m sure this question has definitely been asked before but maybe there are some new theories out there…
For Sandrone’s release in 6.7, do you all believe we’ll be gaining another playable Fatui Harbinger who’s an active Harbinger, or do you believe Sandrone will be an ex Harbinger by her release in 6.7? I’m always so 50/50 on this, since I can see her story going both ways. If you ask me what I personally want though, I’d love for her to be an active Harbinger who is playable, since we still only have Childe and Arle. But the reason I see it going both ways is pretty simple.
For staying with the Fatui, I feel like some reasons would be their funding and resources, the Fatui being all she has left, and the Tsaritsa’s goal. For funding, she’s of course a researcher who is focused on automaton technology and the Fatui provide the necessary resources for her to continue her work. For the Fatui being all she has left, after losing associates and even Alain from the Narziss, the Fatui as an organization seems to he all she has left in life. I feel as if there’s no where else for her to go. And finally for the Tsaritsa’s goal, her notebook showed that she is still pretty committed to the Fatui’s long term goal, especially the quote “The Tsaritsa’s plan…it must succeed”.
Though when we come to her potentially leaving, I feel like there’s also a few reason. With her close associates either dying or leaving the organization she could see it as not being worth it to stay. Another reason could be the Dottore conflict and how she had to suffer greatly in the midst of his plan, and that could cause her to break from the group. And finally, she could always embrace her allegiance to the Fontaine Reasearch Institute or Narzissenkreuz Ordo, and leave the Fatui to be a researcher for those groups instead. Maybe even try to rebuild the Ordo from the ground up.
All in all, I’m sure there’s many other reasons for both of these possibilities, but I’d love to see any theories you all might have about both options, or even just an explanation on what you personally want to see.
