I know he has stuff in his personal life to deal with, and I respect that. Focus on yourself, it's way more important than a little roblox game... that is not my issue though.

I don't agree with people saying "Maxx doesn't play his own game" I've literally seen the dude in lobbies and he's a Brig with probably more hours. He always favored the talon... and for me at least it seems that every buff or nerf he added helped his playstyle and was unreasonable.

My personal take on the announcement is that he was WAY too ambitious and decided to take on development even with so much already happening in his life. However, difficulties with \*\*\*THE\*\*\* RedCode™©® demoralized him to the point where he felt he couldn't add anything, not to mention most changes he made weren't ever really respected in the community?

I'm not sure where he wants to go next with G/D or if he even will. The remake sounds like kind of a nothing burger to me: "I'm making it more for myself than anyone", "I'm making it more as a test of my abilities". I really doubt we're ever getting one as even the way he described the game he made it sound like an entirely separate game that was sort of inspired by G/D, maybe just with similiar visuals and core mechanics.

Best case scenario? He somehow manages to hands off development to someone else which is something I haven't seen anyone consider in this sub or discord yet.

Basically Maxx after being handed G/D development
