How do you know which trial users are ready to buy? I build something for this
How do you know which of your trial users is about to convert — vs. about to disappear?
Landing page + demo dashboard are live: https://tralus.replit.app
I've been talking to a lot of early-stage SaaS founders about this. The honest answers I keep hearing:
- "We check Mixpanel when we remember to"
- "We look at who's logging in a lot and guess"
- "We have some Intercom sequences but no one really monitors them"
The result: someone was hot for 3 days, visited the pricing page twice, invited a teammate — and nobody reached out. They churned or signed up with a competitor.
The pattern I noticed is that the data exists. It's all in Segment or Mixpanel. The problem isn't tracking — it's that nobody is watching in real time, and dashboards don't interrupt you.
So I've been building something that sits on top of your existing analytics and fires a Slack alert the moment a trial user crosses a threshold you define — things like "logged in 5x in 3 days" or "invited 2 teammates" or "visited pricing 3 times." Each alert includes context and a suggested action.
No-code rules, connects to Segment or Mixpanel in ~5 min.

Before I build further I want to know if this is actually a real pain or if I'm solving something people have already figured out.
Three honest questions:
- How do you currently know when a trial user is ready to buy?
- What's your biggest frustration with your current setup?
- Would a real-time Slack nudge actually change your behavior, or would you ignore it like everything else?
Genuinely want to know if this resonates — I'd rather get roasted here than build the wrong thing for 6 more months.
