Issues with payment in the official hololive shop. "Your payment couldn’t be verified. Try again or use a different payment method." (Context below)

I live in Brazil, but I'll be going to Japan in September, and I have a friend already living in Japan who is willing to receive a purchase I want to make now (Bae's birthday merch plushie) which ships in August.

This purchase would cost me around 600 BRL in total (around 114 dollars) with shipping+taxes if I were to make it through Geekjack and ship it to Brazil. If I buy the merch on the hololive shop and ship it to my friend in Japan, it'll cost me 150 BRL (around 30 dollars), and I can just get the plushie from him when I go to Japan.

The issue I'm having is, whenever I try to use one of my credit cards on the hololive shop, it's not accepted. I always get the message "Your payment couldn’t be verified. Try again or use a different payment method.". I've already tried two credit cards, all not expired and perfectly fine.

Has anyone else had this issue before, and do you know how to fix it? What could be causing this issue? Do I need to have a japanese credit card in order to make a purchase in the hololive shop? That doesn't make sense to me, because I already made a purchase on the hololive shop in 2024, and that one went totally fine! Please help me, and thanks for your attention.

EDIT: If it's possible to use Geek Jack to deliver to Japan, please tell me how as well. The address doesn't work in Geek Jack
