Longest wait between starter lineups?

Does anyone know what the longest wait we’ve had between starters being announced and the middle and final evos being announced? I’m sure we probably have waited before, and maybe it’s just the first time it’s happened in the TikTok/Reels content era but i can’t recall ever having to wait like this. I’m hating it. Seeing everyone’s predictions etc, watching the entire internet decide they have to be sheep and love Browt. It’s not good for the medium IMO. They all feel tarnished with so much commentary and opinion before you can even choose. Letting the internet come up with their own interim answers when the real answers aren’t out there has to be humanity at peak facepalm. Like three days ago half the internet convinced itself jim carrey was a clone just because the publicist hadn’t denied it fast enough. We’re terrible at patiently waiting
