Struggling with FAR math
I am getting absolutely COOKED by all the math while studying for FAR. I’m really good at math, but terrible at remembering the 1000 formulas and rules. I have not seen any advice in any forum other than “do a bunch of MCQ’s”. Is this really the method? Is it going to magically click? I’m using UWorld (Roger) and I feel like there is no building phase. It goes straight into multi layered complex formulas instead of starting with basics and gradually building and there’s “easy question” options to build confidence. My test is two weeks from now, I finished all the material and I am now in my review phase but it is demoralizing to feel like I have no chance at climbing this huge mountain of formulas/rules. Please give me real advice on how you handled it/made it any easier. If the trick is to just grind 1000 mcq’s I will but I don’t feel like I’m learning this way.
