What weird word or sound did your family say when something was “gross”?

It’s a weird question and will only make sense if your family had one.

For example when I was growing up, if one of us children was trying to put a shoe in their mouth, grab a bug, play in the toilet, eat dog food or really anything considered gross. The adults would say “no, that’s aki”.

“Aki” almost pronounced like a Wisconsin person trying to say the Spanish word “aquí” 😂.

I’ve heard uck, haki and a few other things. But I guess I just realized I’ve never heard anyone out side my family use the word “aki”.
