Kidney problem potentially age 27 height 5'9

I have been sick for a month now with my main symptoms being fatigue, nausea everytime I eat or drink, intense cold and hot flashes and a cough I did a blood test and they said they found something wrong with my kidneys. How likely is it that my sickness has been due to my kidneys as opposed to my sickness making my kidneys worse because I do not drink as much due to nausea.
