Any tips for someone working in oil paints getting into digital art?

Technology & Software 💻

I mainly work in oil paints cuz I enjoy the blending and general workflow, but have recently gotten into digital art through a gifted art tablet and am struggling. Just generally not enjoying the more rigid style and lack of brush feedback along with colors just being a lot more finicky. Of course, a big part of this is me needing to build up my skills with it and all, but I would be very grateful for any resources or programs that might make the experience more enjoyable. For reference, I've tried Photoshop and clipstudio so far, and clip definitely felt better, but I'm still wrapping my head around it for sure.
