2020 was one of the best years of my life

Man i just had a long day… got assignments and projects due in a few days… home life not great… people blowing up my phone.. Anxiety through the roof.

And i thought to myself… Damn i miss the pandemic. I enjoyed my time so much to where i felt weird telling others because everyone acted as if they were in turmoil.

It was legitimately one of the best years of my life. Its like life itself was put on pause. Like when you are playing an open world game and not rushing to each objective.

I got the chance to catch up with my friends and we all gamed alot and talked about our futures. Caught up on a shitload of shows… Finished some home maintenance… Spent time with family and etc. I genuinely can see how people in certain third world countries remain happy. Not chasing a damn dollar 24/7 makes life worth living

Now in 2026 with no “lockdown” …. i feel more trapped and encaged now than ever. Deadlines and Bills are my life right now. Feel like in on a hamster wheel
