HMS Question

does anybody else's team lead in HMS tell them to cut down on the number of containers of food they make to make them weigh more? for example, one of the items we have, the case yield is 8 per case but my team lead always tells me to only make five so they weigh more and that just seems weird to me And this isn't the only thing that he tells me to cut back the quantity on, I figure the Casey old is there for a reason but I don't want to argue with my team lead and the manager said the same thing, And that just seems dishonest to me.
