Was anyone unable to finish their course?

Hi all - potential long post coming.

Was anyone else unable to finish their course due to struggling with side effects? If so, please share your experiences. How long did it take for side effects to settle, did your acne come back? Etc.

I’m currently month 5 in, 20mg daily. I had moderate cystic jawline acne. My acne has cleared. My skin looks the best it ever has, but I am feeling so extremely low due to the side effects I’m having. I don’t think I can see this through.

My mood is extremely low and my anxiety can be through the roof. As someone who has experienced depression and anxiety, I am managing but I just haven’t felt like myself for the last 5 months.

I am having multiple nose bleeds every single day. It’s more rare for me to go a day without a nosebleed.

And the one thing that is bothering me the most is the intense face flushing. I work between an office and a yard. The constant change from being outside in the heat, to inside in the air conditioning makes my face flush like I’ve never experienced. Every day around the same time, my face goes bright red. It is so uncomfortable. My face feels hot to touch and the pressure I feel in my face honestly feels like my face is going to explode. As soon as it starts to happen, I become aware of it and my anxiety makes it worse.

I’m due to see the dermatologist next month but I don’t think I can handle this anymore.

Please give me some hope 😭
