Fresh grad dilemma
The role here is Excel/Data Analyst, and the contract is for a 6-month project.
Recently, nagparamdam ulit si Company B (bank) regarding my application. They’re offering a Tech/Training program with 6 months training, then 2 years of work after the training. Compensation-wise, mas maganda rin siya compared to Company A. Also, since it’s in a bank, I feel like it aligns more with my long-term goal which is to eventually enter the fintech space.
Now I’m a bit conflicted. Since nakapirma na ako ng contract with Company A, pero hindi pa naman ako officially nagsisimula mag work, okay lang ba na i-retract ko yung application if I decide to pursue Company B?
May possible bang legal or professional issues dito? Ayoko rin sana masunog bridges, especially since fresh grad pa lang ako, but at the same time gusto ko rin piliin yung mas aligned sa long-term career path ko.
Would appreciate any advice, especially if may naka-experience na ng similar situation. Thanks!
