turnips and time travel?

Ok, I know they rot when you go back in time, this isn’t about that, I’m fixing to time travel until I get a high Turnip Selling Price— and started just going back and forth between the same few days in lieu of just going on day ahead at a time. I was curious… is it better to just go a day ahead always? I know there’s like, a sort of pattern to the way Timmy and Tommy price the turnips, and was wondering if I just kept going back and forth through the same two days if I wasn’t at all helping my odds. Like maybe I was just trapping myself in a loop of “the highest this week goes is this number and that won’t change” or something.

I feel like I’m explaining this weird, lol. But my question is should I keep going forth or is it ok to just go between two random days over and over until I get a good turnip price.
